Our Council initiated a system to score the quality and the level of satisfaction for each event. We started this ranking in 2023, not just to assess the quality of each event, but in order to make improvements, and to assess which venue or which champagne producer, was worthy of a repeat visit.

Initially, we just had one overall score which combined into one score for the food, the venue and the champagnes being served. However, we soon realised that we needed to separate the venue, which included the ambience, the service and the quality of the food – which was quite separate from the quality of the champagnes.

Starting from April 2024, we therefore had separate scores. One for the food (which included the venue, ambience and service) and another score for the Champagne quality.
