The heart of the Confrerie you Sabre d'Or is to promote the ancient tradition Sabrage, and to spread awareness of champagne.“What is Sabrage and what is it all about?” Well, Sabrage is the art of slicing open a bottle of champagne with one smooth action of the sabre without the usual need of un-corking the bottle.

It also aims to support the growing number of Caveaux where the art of of the Sabrage can be performed in accordance with applicable requirements.

 

The different Caveaux range from small restaurants and hotels and even boutique cigar establishments where fine cigars can be enjoyed.

 

They all have two things in common - Champagne and fun.
